About Nuxo

Nuxo is an independent network and IT services practice, not an agency. You deal directly with the people doing the work — there is no account manager in between.

Our background is software engineering, with most of that time spent on the infrastructure side of it: the networks services run on, the monitoring that tells you when they stop, and the backups that decide how bad a bad day gets. Nuxo is that same work, done for small organizations that have outgrown a consumer router but don't have anyone in-house whose job this is.

How we work

Documentation is a deliverable, not a favor. Every engagement ends with something written down. If the only record of how your network is put together lives in someone's memory, you have a single point of failure that no amount of redundant hardware will fix.

Boring, supportable choices. We would rather deploy something well understood that you can find help for in three years than something clever that only we can maintain. Where we set up tooling, we use widely adopted products and standard configurations.

No lock-in. You own the documentation, the configurations, and the credentials. If you bring someone else in or hire internally, the handover should be uneventful.

Honest scoping. If a problem is outside what we do well, or if the thing you are asking for is not the thing that will help, we will say so. Small networks rarely need what they are usually sold.
